Validity and Reliability of the Depression Attitude Questionnaire: Korean Version

Purpose: This study tested the validity and reliability of Korean version Depression Attitude Questionnaire Nurse (DAQ-K). The scale measures attitudes toward depression among nurses.Methods: DAQ-K was developed using forward-backward translation techniques. An internal consistency as well construct exploratory analysis, were conducted SPSS/WIN (21.0). data collected from 234 nurses at two tertiary hospitals, four general hospitals in D S city, South Korea.Results: Factor analysis results revised demonstrated that it has a four-factor structure(professional confidence, generalist perspective, therapeutic negative prejudice) supports validity. loadings 14 items .42-.80. showed reliable Cronbach’s ⍺ for total .74.Conclusion: Results satisfactory validity, is measure Korea. likely to be useful examining across Korea, may valuable evaluating training addresses nurses’ towards depression.
